Why Is This Here?
In my misspent youth, I was under the impression I was a pretty good photographer. With the wisdom of age, I came to understand the truth. I'm a barely adequate photographer. For a long time, I just had better equipment. I occasionally get lucky and end up with a really nice image, but for the most part my part my pictures aren't so much art as photographic evidence that I've been somewhere or seen something.
The bulk of the photographic evidence on display here is a record of my wanderings through Rocky Mountain National Park. There are roughly 150 named lakes in the Park and although I'm unlikely to visit them all, I am making the effort. For those who are curious as to how I reached these lakes, I've added a bit of path finding information to each lake's album: where to start, how far to walk, and how high to climb. For more detail, I will send you off to visit my blog which contains quite a bit more detail.
