here's another fine 83 Fixx show. Not sure if it's the whole show, I think it is because I have 3 others from 83 of similar length. This is all music of their 1st 2 albums, Shuttered Rooms and Reach the Beach. These and the 3rd one (Phantoms) are all full of great songs, if you haven't heard this set yet you should. Denver got to see the Fixx in a nice theater, while we in Boston got the Paradise in 82, with its immovable poles in front of the stage, so EVERYBODY gets an obstructed seat view, and on this tour, in a football stadium too cavernous even for the headlining Police. Both sound better in small theaters and clubs, I've never been in the Rainbow Theater but been told a few times it has nice sound. It sounds like it has nice sound in this recording. Probably something similar to the Orpheum in Boston where the Fixx played in 84, although I think the Rainbow is a much newer structure. this was first posted in 2008 with unknown date and venue.
here's another "fix" of my favorite 80's pop band (by a mile).
