We continue our focus on 1991 with the Late Show the following night after the Santa Rosa sets posted here:

This is a fantastic show with a full "High School Confident" early in the set, a couple more not often played songs and Henry Kaiser thrown in to boot on a killer version of the Stones "Play With Fire" and drop dead gorgeous "Calvary Cross". On top of all that we get a bit of Shakespeare and a fun cover of the legendary Buck Owens.
Some challenges with the levels on this one, which were all over the place. I cleaned it up quite a bit, boosted a couple of sections that had extremely low levels to the point you had to manually crank up the volume a LOT to hear it (this did create a touch of hiss but after some very slight eq'ing it's not enough to go back to the extremely unlistenable low volume). Finally, I smoothed some sections that were recorded a touch hot and leveled it all so there wasn't a need to bounce the volume up and down throughout the show.
All in all I'm VERY pleased with the result and I think you'll enjoy it as well.
Anyone happen to have the early show?
Enjoy!
