Notes: I was inspired to search out this old cassette after hearing The Hunnas reunite for Sound Relief in Melboure a few weeks ago, the big benefit concerts to aid victims of the recent horrific Australian bushfires. This tape hasn't seen the light of day for a while, but it's still in good shape. I even played it back on (I think) the same D6 I used to record it 22 years ago! I wish I'd used a better microphone - the bass starts off strong and becomes even fuller, eventually overwhelming the poor mic and causing some distortion by the end of the show. I used Soundforge to gently eq away the worst of the low bass, and quite a few sonic details are revealed. I actually think this has become pretty listenable, and would rate it at least a B for sound quality, except the last couple of songs. Enjoy! And if anyone else is sitting on old Hunnas recordings, let's see them here! Note a brief gap before Say Goodbye where I flipped the tape... PeterT
