Wynton Marsalis and The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra adapt popular and folk songs of Europe and Russia, works by Gil Evans, and Igor Stravinsky's rarely heard Ebony Concerto (written for the Woody Herman Orchestra). Italian saxophone sensations Stefano Di Battista and 14-year-old Francisco Cafiso joins the proceedings for "La Paloma" and "Bluesette."
