Notes
Bellinzona June 27th, 2003.Johnny Winter and Big Jack Johnson have already been torrented here.
But there were a couple of other great shows that night!
Upon demand (gorillone, it's your time to jump on now...) and with the ever present help of our fantastic SwissBird, this is the show that was generally considered to be last year's biggest surprise: Otis Taylor.
His set was raw and powerful, just like his voice. This music grows on you the more you listen to it. I hear John Lee and the atmospheres of the great Mali masters.
No setlists and no artwork for this one, just the music.

Otis Taylor Band
Kenny Passarelli: bass
Eddie Turner: lead guitar
Otis Taylor: the rest
It features a collaboration with Billy Branch for a special 2-harp treat on track 5 (only track you'll hear a drummer) and a very good performance of Hey Joe as final encore; Hendix seemed to be the resident ghost last year since many of the artists played their own tributes, Lucky Peterson and Alvin Youngblood Hart are the next to come to mind.
Speaking of Youngblood Hart, If I see interest in this torrent - will be glad to see some feedback - I may torrent his set as well later on.
PS: I know it's a bit late now, but if you have not done so yet, I urge you to get hold of the Martin Scorsese's Blues series set on DVD, any one of the seven movies included is a dream come true for any blues lover!!!
