Remastered from master tapes (post broadcast) of Bruce Cockburn's show at the Capitol theatre, Sydney, on 29th October 1983, recorded by Auntie and FM broadcast at the time. This was a solo / acoustic show, one of the few given by Bruce at this stage in his career, and is a great show. There is at least one other version of this show in circulation, missing some sections (notably half of Water into Wine), and in lesser quality sound (2nd gen?).
I have remastered it anew, it is the complete show, and, well, its very nice. I didn't have to do much to it really, just balance the phasing to get the stereo right, eq slightly, check the pitch was correct etc. It is bright and clear, and my only reservation is that the hiss is noticeable in quieter sections, however I have not denoised as the loss of subtle detail I consider would have been too detrimental overall.
This is an SHN vine (one disc). No artwork (but anyone is welcome to concoct some for it).
