One 12" vinyl single was released for the song "One." It is also a charity fundraiser, though the CD version has superior tracks. The 12" has only three songs: the album version of "One," a cover of Lou Reed's "Satellite of Love," and the B-side "Lady With the Spinning Head," which is an early Salome: The [Axtung Beibi] Outtakes track with hints of "Ultraviolet (Light My Way)." This is a nice single, but misses the steel string remix of "Night and Day," which is one of the best U2 covers ever. The vinyl single was only released in the U.K. The 12" has the best art of any of the "One" singles because of its size. The stunning photo of buffalo running off a cliff by American artist David Wojnarowicz is among the best album covers ever. -- JT Griffith (allmusic.com)
