The paths of the four musicians in this performance have crossed at various stages in their careers,
more often than not in the studios of ECM. They all have made records for the German label,
either under their own names or as participants in somebody else's groups. In some records two or three of the artist
assembled here combined their talents, but there isn't an officially released CD with the combination of
Lakshminarayanan Shankar, Jan Garbarek, Trilok Gurtu and Naná Vasconcelos - at least not as far as I know. I apologize in advance if I'm proven wrong.
