| Notes/Review |
| I enjoyed this one, even if all the characters in the last third of the book had names made only of combinations of Hale, Hoxworth, Janders, and Whipple. I don't really know the history of Hawaii, but I assume Michener is telling the basic tale more or less factually through a cast of fictional characters as he has done in his other books. |
